\"\"Riding for the Disabled Association Top End<\/h1>\n

Riding for the Disabled Association Top End (RDA TE) is a not-for-profit community organisation dedicated to providing opportunities for people of all abilities in the greater Darwin, Northern Territory (NT) area. The centre enables participants to engage in equestrian-related activities, including horse care and riding programs. RDA TE fosters, promotes, and supports the integration of people with varying abilities into community activities in a safe and supportive environment. This experience results in an increased quality of life, achievement of personal goals, and improved life skills.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

A key part of the RDA TE operational model is the involvement of volunteers. The organisation provides a fun, safe and encouraging environment for people to grow their skills and experiences not only in equestrian-related activities but also in working with people with disability, self-reflection, empathy and compassion. Volunteers are also provided opportunities in general facility maintenance, promotional and outreach events, fundraising activities as well as leadership at a Board level.\u00a0<\/p>\n

RDA TE\u2019s existing equestrian centre and associated facilities are situated on 26 acres at 38 Catalina Road, Marlow Lagoon on the outskirts of Palmerston. The centre includes a full sized sand-based undercover riding arena and a bush land block.<\/p>\n
